Mid LevelAxiom Global Technologies is seeking a Mainframe CICS Systems Programmer to manage and maintain CICS regions across complex Sysplex/CICSPlex environments. The role involves system upgrades, performance monitoring, and providing on-call support to ensure high availability of CICS systems.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain CICS regions across complex Sysplex/CICSPlex environments
Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance using SMP/E
Monitor and optimize CICS performance, including tuning and capacity planning
Conduct problem determination, dump analysis, and root cause resolution
Support dynamic transaction routing and CICSPlex SM configurations
Work closely with application development and operations teams
Provide on-call support to ensure high availability of CICS systems
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of CICS parameters and performance controls
Experience with CICS SMF records and CICS Performance Analyzer
Familiarity with CICS monitoring tools (e.g., Sysview for CICS)
Strong understanding of CICS resource definitions and region performance
Experience supporting WebSphere MQ on mainframe
Working knowledge of COBOL to assist application teams
Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
