Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications within Friedman ERP
Write, modify, and optimize RPG (RPGLE / Free-Format RPG) programs
Support ERP modules related to retail operations, inventory, purchasing, sales, and finance
Design and maintain CL programs, DB2/400 files, and SQL queries
Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Perform testing, debugging, and documentation of code changes

Required

Strong experience as an RPG Developer on IBM i (AS400)
Proven hands-on experience with Friedman ERP
Proficiency in RPGLE / Free-Format RPG
Solid knowledge of DB2/400, SQL, and data structures
Experience with CL programming
Understanding of ERP concepts, especially in retail or distribution environments
Ability to analyze business processes and propose technical solutions
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
