Mechanical Engineer
Curtiss-Wright Corporation is a leading supplier of mission-critical pumps for the U.S. Navy, seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support customer-funded programs. The role involves engineering analysis, developing compliant ordering data, and supporting manufacturing processes while ensuring compliance with customer specifications.

Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and provide feedback on customer contracts and design proposals
Develop customer compliant ordering data to support part procurement
Write ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) to revise/create drawings, or to modify component ordering data based on customer requirements and supplier feedback
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, reports, and specifications
Perform Engineering Analysis for non-conforming material and obtain customer approval
Support EPD’s Manufacturing Floor: Assembly and Test
Write Engineering Test Reports and Procedures for Customer Approval
Design New Fixtures and Tools to support the in-house needs of Manufacturing
Train and Support Technicians in Manufacturing Procedures to ensure customer specification compliance
Other duties as time and initiative for career growth permit
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain security clearances
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) with minimum 2 years experience
Material Processing Knowledge (Machining and Fabrication)
Knowledge of Industry Standards (Military, ASTM, SAE, etc.)
Proficiency with a Solid Modeling Program (SolidWorks Preferred)
FEA Experience a Plus
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Self-starter, motivated, and action-oriented individual able to excel in an environment with individual accountability
