Responsibilities
Design & Documentation: Create high-precision technical drawings and maintain rigorous revision controls to ensure manufacturing accuracy
Process Innovation: Collaborate with sales teams and customers to identify and implement design improvements that boost production yields and equipment reliability
Technical Problem Solving: Act as a hands-on troubleshooter, resolving complex tubing assembly issues within critical drug manufacturing workflows
Strategic Sourcing: Identify and document correct component specifications and supplier part numbers to ensure seamless integration into the supply chain
Lifecycle Management: Support management in optimizing the entire assembly lifecycle from quoting and purchasing to final order fulfillment
Qualification
Required
3+ years of engineering experience, ideally focused on bioprocessing, medical device, plastics or single-use assembly design
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related technical field
Proficiency in CAD software is essential; SolidWorks expertise is required
Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and sterile manufacturing environments
