Responsibilities
Design and develop custom applications using Oracle APEX and Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
Build user friendly UI/UX interfaces with responsive layouts and modern front-end design
Develop RESTful services and integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or native PL/SQL APIs
Build EBS R12 extensions using:
Oracle APEX front-ends
VBCS front-ends
Custom PL/SQL packages, functions, and procedures
Integrate custom apps securely with EBS modules such as Finance, SCM, HR, etc
Develop Oracle EBS personalization and extension components without impacting standard functionality
Consume and expose REST/SOAP APIs between APEX/VBCS and Oracle EBS
Develop and maintain FBDI, BIP, or OIC-based integrations where needed
Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and propose technical solutions
Prepare technical design documents, architecture diagrams, and deployment plans
Conduct unit testing, performance tuning, and debugging
Support UAT and production rollout activities
Ensure solutions follow Oracle best practices, security guidelines, and performance standards
Qualification
Required
5+ years experience with Oracle APEX (Forms, Reports, Interactive Grid, REST-enabled SQL, Dynamic Actions)
2+ years experience with Oracle VBCS (Web apps, mobile apps, custom flows)
Strong Oracle PL/SQL programming skills
Hands-on experience integrating with Oracle E-Business Suite R12
Experience with REST/SOAP web services, OAuth, and API security
Practical knowledge of Oracle Database objects: tables, views, packages, triggers
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a cross-functional team
Strong commitment to delivery timelines and quality
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred
Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations
Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP would be a plus
Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 for UI enhancements
Understanding of DevOps tools (Git, CI/CD, Build pipelines)
Oracle certifications are an advantage
