Responsibilities
Designing and developing central systems for heavy machinery, ensuring efficiency and reliability
Conducting research to identify opportunities for improving existing systems and implementing innovative solutions
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of central systems with overall machine design
Performing analysis and testing of central systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance for central system-related issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred
Proven 6 years' experience in designing central systems for heavy machinery
Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations in heavy equipment manufacturing
Preferred
Professional Engineering (PE) license for Maryland, Virginia and Washington area
Experience working in the heavy machinery industry
Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques for central systems
Advanced skills in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis
