Project Manager, Utilities
Lunova Group is partnering with a growing, utilities-focused construction company to identify a Project Manager to support ongoing and future work in West Virginia. The Project Manager will oversee utility construction projects from estimating through execution, while also supporting client relationships and business development efforts.
Responsibilities
Manage utility construction projects from pre-construction through completion
Prepare estimates, budgets, and job costing for assigned projects
Coordinate crews, schedules, materials, and subcontractors
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
Support business development through client relationship management
Track project progress, costs, and performance to ensure successful outcomes
Lead and support field teams to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards
Assist with process improvement and operational coordination as the business grows
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in utility construction, infrastructure, or a related field
Background in project management, estimating, field supervision, or a combination
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with estimating or construction software a plus (e.g., HCSS)
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Self-motivated and comfortable wearing multiple hats
Willingness to work primarily out of the Morgantown, WV area (with limited regional travel)
Preferred
Gas, water, or other underground utilities experience preferred
