Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits
Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting
Monitor performance vs. budget and provide variance analysis and insights to leadership
Manage cash flow, liquidity, and treasury/banking relationships
Supervise payroll, benefits administration, and accounts payable
Maintain internal controls, financial governance, and risk management practices
Serve as the primary point of contact for communicating financial position and updates to firm leadership
Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and key initiatives
Qualification
Required
8+ years of accounting/finance experience (investment management preferred; other professional services considered)
Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance
Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
CPA or MBA preferred
