Evaluating loan applications and conducting detailed underwriting for commercial and residential real estate transactions
Analyzing financial documents, market data, and property appraisals
Preparing clear and thorough credit memos
Coordinating with clients and internal teams
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Staying updated on industry guidelines and trends to provide insightful recommendations and support business decisions
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in agency loan underwriting (strong preference for Affordable experience (MAH/TAH))
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing reports and collaborating with stakeholders (internal and external)
Ability to multi-task several underwriting assignments and manage an active pipeline
Potential to become a Team Lead and build out a team of underwriters/analysts to support specific client relationships
