Responsibilities
Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Develop and maintain modern web applications using a Python-based backend and Vue.js frontend (or similar frameworks)
Design, build, and enhance scalable services deployed on AWS cloud infrastructure
Participate in system- and component-level design discussions and technical decision-making
Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best practices
Support production workloads, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure system reliability
Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Communicate clearly with team members and stakeholders, surfacing risks and trade-offs early
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
Strong experience with modern web application development
Proficiency in Python for backend development
Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js preferred; React or Angular acceptable)
Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications on AWS
Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web application architecture
Ability to ramp up quickly on complex systems and unfamiliar codebases
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Prior experience supporting production systems
