Responsibilities
Lead the design, analysis, and certification of concrete foundations, structural steel systems, building structures, and equipment supports
Perform and review structural calculations and designs in compliance with applicable codes and industry standards
Seal drawings and calculations under an active Professional Engineer (PE) license
Coordinate closely with mechanical, electrical, and process engineering teams to deliver integrated project solutions
Interface directly with clients, vendors, and contractors to support successful project execution
Conduct site visits, field verifications, and as-built reviews
Mentor and guide junior engineers, designers, and drafters
Contribute to the development and improvement of internal design standards and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (multi-state licensure or ability to obtain is a plus)
4+ years of progressive civil/structural engineering experience, preferably in industrial or heavy facility environments
Strong knowledge of concrete foundations, structural steel framing, equipment support systems, and building structures
Proficiency with structural analysis and design software, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
Ability to clearly communicate technical information and collaborate across disciplines
Preferred
Industrial plants, heavy industrial facilities, steel mills, or infrastructure projects
Leading designs across multiple project phases
Experience mentoring or reviewing work performed by junior staff
