Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers, ensuring career growth, skill development, and fostering a collaborative team culture
Define engineering goals, priorities, and deliverables in alignment with the company’s strategic objectives
Build and maintain a high-performing engineering team capable of delivering high-quality SaaS solutions
Oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality SaaS applications leveraging .Net and React technologies
Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team
Lead architectural decisions, system design, and code reviews to ensure scalability, security, and reliability of the platform
Work closely with Product Management, Design, and other stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business priorities
Serve as the technical liaison across teams, ensuring clear communication between engineering, sales, customer support, and other departments
Implement and refine engineering processes and workflows to ensure efficient development cycles and delivery timelines
Drive adoption of best practices for software development, testing, and deployment within the engineering team

Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of professional experience in software development and engineering leadership
5+ years of hands-on experience with .Net and React frameworks
Proven track record of delivering SaaS products in a high-growth environment
Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and modern development practices, including CI/CD pipelines and DevOps principles
Strong ability to make technical decisions while balancing business needs, scalability, and user experience
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to inspire and manage diverse teams
Experience working at startups or in environments involving rapid product iteration
Expertise in microservices architecture and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience implementing them within teams
Prior experience scaling and optimizing SaaS applications to serve growing customer bases
Preferred
7-10+ years of experience in software development and engineering leadership roles preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred; Master's degree would be advantageous
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Excellent initiative and sound decision-making ability
Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
