Responsibilities
Design and Architect the POC Solution: Create a scalable, maintainable architecture for the Ionic Angular application that follows best practices and can serve as a blueprint for the full implementation
Lead POC Development: Design and develop a functional Proof of Concept application using Ionic Angular and Capacitor that demonstrates core user journeys
Authentication Implementation: Integrate Auth0 Universal Login with secure authentication flows and session management
Feature Development: Implement multi-account/multi-site management and self-service operations with a focus on performance and UX
Native Integration: Demonstrate integration with device capabilities (camera, biometrics, offline storage)
Performance Optimization: Ensure the application meets performance benchmarks comparable to native applications
Component Reuse: Identify opportunities to leverage existing Angular components from our web platform
Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation of architecture, patterns, and integration approaches
Framework Evaluation: Provide expert assessment of Ionic Angular's capabilities against our specific requirements
Knowledge Transfer: Share insights and best practices with the broader development team
Qualification
Required
4+ years of experience with Angular development
2+ years of experience with Ionic Framework and Capacitor/Cordova
Proven experience designing and architecting mobile applications with a focus on scalability and maintainability
Strong TypeScript skills and understanding of modern JavaScript patterns
Experience integrating OAuth authentication flows in mobile applications
Demonstrated ability to build performant mobile UIs with complex data interactions
Experience with offline-first mobile application development
Understanding of native device capabilities and their integration via Capacitor
Knowledge of mobile application architecture and best practices
Experience with mobile application testing and debugging
Preferred
Experience with Angular component libraries and design systems
Prior work on enterprise-scale mobile applications with large user bases
Knowledge of both iOS and Android platform considerations
Experience with Auth0 or similar authentication providers
Understanding of accessibility requirements for mobile applications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications
Experience migrating applications from native to cross-platform frameworks
