Responsibilities

Design and program building automation systems, site-specific configuration of control system, and control algorithms
Adhere to project requirements and company and customer standards of design, programming, and implementation
Create a clear design document for project teams with technical information
Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions
Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems
Test programming and interfaces prior to implantation
Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customers’ needs are met
Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks
Support of functional testing for building systems

Required

Bachelor's degree OR Associate Degree with 2+ years of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and/or HVAC controls experience
High School Diploma with 4+ years of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and/or HVAC controls experience

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering or Construction discipline
Experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industry
Working knowledge of primary functions of building automation system software and associated engineering tools, Automated Logic suites preferred
Working knowledge of Automated Logic software, hardware, peripherals, add-ons, and services
Experience with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc
Experience with Enterprise IP networks and Microsoft Visio, or similar software
Ability to understand written sequences of operations, diagrammatic depictions of systems
Experience with Microsoft suite, including Excel, Teams, OneNote, etc
Able to translate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs
