Responsibilities
Act as the final escalation point, delivering permanent fixes—not band-aids
Lead infrastructure initiatives: servers, virtualization, networking, cloud, security
Consult directly with clients and help translate business needs into technical solutions
Improve internal efficiency through automation, scripting, and AI-minded initiatives
Mentor Tier I & II engineers through guidance—not hierarchy
Balance projects, escalations, and internal initiatives in a fast-moving MSP environment
Qualification
Required
Recent MSP experience is required
Proven Tier III / senior MSP experience (must-have)
Strong Microsoft 365 experience (Entra, Exchange, Intune, Purview)
Windows and/or Linux server administration
Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, or similar)
Solid networking skills (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs – Layer 1–4)
Azure experience (AWS exposure a plus)
Strong troubleshooting and documentation habits
Calm, confident communicator who owns issues end-to-end
Natural mentor—no ego, no “that's not my job” mindset
Must live in Richmond, VA or Northern VA
