Responsibilities
Create and maintain work instructions and manufacturing specifications
Identify and recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities
Identify and implement changes to improve products and reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, product design, materials, and parts
Determine root cause of failures using statistical methods, and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods
Collaborate cross-functionally to facilitate production process and evaluate potential changes
Qualification
Required
Manufacturing experience Required
Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Kanban and 5S preferred
