The role involves performing various accounts payable and accounting-related tasks to assist the property group, including invoice review, data entry, and communication with vendors.

Responsibilities
Review invoices & send out for appropriate approvals
Verify coding and prepare for data entry
Determine whether capital, project or expense related
Enter and verify invoices for payment
Determine use tax properly accrued and reported when necessary
Ensure all necessary fields for Asset and Activity Management are complete
Verify entry for accuracy and forward to AP for check preparation
Communicate with various departments & vendors on inquiries
Filing
Create and update spreadsheets
Utilize query tool
Print, bind and distribute reports as needed
Set up new activities
Enter manual entries into Activity Management
Review and release accounts payable interface into Activity Management
Assist Asset Mgmt. Accountant with uploads, manual asset adds, disposals, or other tasks as necessary
Qualification
Required
Excellent attendance, work ethic, customer service - internal & external
Proficient with spreadsheet and word processing software
Excellent 10-key calculator by touch
Excellent math skills
Attention to detail
Strong accuracy and organization
Ability to work with limited supervision
General understanding of accounting process desired – assets, liabilities, debits, credits
