Responsibilities
Engage in diagnosis, calibration, repair, and overhaul of all electronic, logic, and digital equipment and electro-mechanical devices operated by the MTA
Maintain all records and forms in conformance with all regulations and in accordance with the requirements of the MTA
Understand and operate special test equipment to support maintenance and repairs
Operate maintenance vehicles and perform various other duties associated within the Radio department
Qualification
Required
Two (2) years of radio experience diagnosing and repairing radio transceivers, two-way radio, logic systems, digital circuitry, and electro-mechanical devices
Must be able to obtain an FCC General Radiotelephone Operator license before the end of a 90-day probationary period
Maintaining this license becomes a requirement of employment
Must possess a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Maryland
