Modular Cell Operator I, AWW2 ( Onsite)
RTX is transforming the future of flight and is seeking a Modular Cell Operator I to join their team. This role involves performing routine assembly operations and obtaining operator certification, while participating in on-the-job training to develop skills critical to aerospace manufacturing.

Responsibilities
Learn to perform routine assembly operations on large sections of current engine designs and a variety of similar assemblies
Learn to work from operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to complete tasks
Learn to verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments
Obtain operator Certification to be able to accept/reject parts
Learn to maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM)
Learn to work collaboratively with engineers, quality assurance, programmers and other production personnel or others to resolve assembly problems and assist in part process development
This position will reference written work instructions for guidance with daily job activities. Work instructions are available in English only
Qualification
Required
High School or GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Preferred
1 + years of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience
Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
