Responsibilities
Lead high-level development, system design, and modernization of mainframe applications including COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, and IMS
Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and ensure best practices are followed across projects
Monitor system performance, optimize resources, and support the resolution of complex production incidents
Guide Agile teams, manage project scope and schedules, and coordinate with stakeholders for requirements
Architect, design, and develop scalable mainframe solutions with a focus on performance, quality, and maintainability
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of z/OS, COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS, IMS, REXX, SQL, and debugging tools like Xpediter or File-Aid
5-8 years of experience in mainframe development, including at least 1-2 years in a lead role
