Activities Director
The Arizona Department of Veterans' Services is a state agency dedicated to serving and advocating for service members, veterans, and their families. Qualification
Required
Strong skills in Communication, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and staff effectively
Experience in planning Recreation and Therapeutic Recreation activities tailored to varied needs and abilities
Proficiency in Budgeting and resource allocation for program costs and activities
Skills in Event Planning to organize and execute diverse activities and special events for residents
Creativity, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
A degree or certification in therapeutic recreation, activities management, or a related field is required
Preferred
Familiarity with the needs of veterans or experience working within veteran support services
