Systems Analyst
Osprey Life Sciences, LLC is a leading consulting and services firm specializing in technology solutions for Life Sciences IT organizations. The Systems & Data Analyst will bridge Data and Security initiatives, contribute to enterprise data analysis, and support the design and delivery of secure, scalable systems.
Responsibilities
Partner with Data and Security teams to support cross-domain initiatives, ensuring systems and data flows are designed in a scalable, secure, and enterprise-aligned manner
Perform data and systems analysis to support secure integrations, data flows, and platform design across enterprise environments
Act as a shared analyst across multiple initiatives, providing consistent analytical support rather than being embedded within a single project or program
Contribute to the definition and evolution of architecture patterns, standards, and guardrails aligned with enterprise direction
Serve as a consultative SME to project and delivery teams, advising on system design tradeoffs, data considerations, and security implications
Support initiatives across core security domains, including Identity & Access Management (IAM), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), application security, cloud security, and data security
Translate security requirements, policies, and control objectives into practical system and data design considerations, partnering with architects and engineers as needed
Provide analytical support for governance activities such as control mapping, data classification, audit readiness, and risk assessments
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with regulatory, privacy, and compliance expectations
Contribute to data modeling, metadata management, and lineage considerations to improve transparency, traceability, and governance
Develop a strong understanding of enterprise data integrations and pipelines, including how controls impact ingestion, transformation, and consumption
Support analysis and documentation of system dependencies, interfaces, and data movement across platforms
Work closely with Data Platform and Security teams to ensure alignment across priorities, timelines, and technical approaches
Partner with third-party vendors and implementation partners to support analysis, solution design, and delivery quality
Participate in planning, refinement, and execution activities across multiple initiatives, ensuring data and security considerations are addressed early and consistently
Provide clear documentation, analysis artifacts, and recommendations to support informed decision-making
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered
Experience analyzing modern enterprise data platforms and data architecture
Working knowledge of enterprise security concepts, with strength in Identity & Access Management and GRC
Experience supporting or contributing to system design, security architecture, or enterprise platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex systems and data flows across multiple initiatives
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience working in cross-functional environments and balancing priorities across multiple concurrent efforts
