API Architect
eTeam is seeking an API Architect to lead the Client Lifecycle Management initiative, which aims to modernize the onboarding and management of commercial clients using the Fenergo platform. The role involves collaborating with product owners, designing end-to-end solutions, and ensuring compliance and efficiency in the onboarding process.

Responsibilities
Partner with Product Owners to Translate Business Requirements Collaborate closely with product owners and SMEs to understand onboarding, KYC, and CLM requirements
Conduct requirement‑gathering sessions and refine epics, features, and user stories
Translate business processes into Fenergo configurations, workflows, and rules
Design End‑to‑End Solutions Leveraging the Fenergo Platform Architect client lifecycle management (CLM) solutions using Fenergo modules, rules, data models, and UI components
Ensure functional and technical designs adhere to best practices and regulatory standards
Produce detailed design documents, mapping documents, and configuration specifications
Execute Sprint Deliverables and Participate in Agile Ceremonies Work on sprint commitments such as configuration, rules building, integration updates, UI modeling, or defect fixes
Attend daily standups, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Provide realistic effort estimates and proactively communicate blockers
Build and Conduct Demos for Business Stakeholders Prepare and deliver working demos of new features, workflows, UI screens, or integrations implemented in the sprint
Collect structured feedback and incorporate changes into subsequent user stories
Ensure demos clearly showcase how requirements are met through Fenergo functionality
Contribute to Architectural Decisions with Strong CLM Focus Participate in design and architecture discussions around the CLM ecosystem
Evaluate impacts to existing workflows, integrations, and data models
Recommend scalable, maintainable approaches aligned with enterprise architecture and Fenergo’s framework
Develop, Configure, and Customize CLM Platform Components Configure Fenergo UI components, rules engines, workflows, form models, and document templates
Implement custom logic in Fenergo (e.g., JavaScript, XML configs) when out‑of‑the‑box capabilities are insufficient
Ensure configurations are version‑controlled and well‑documented
Participate in the Full SDLC: Design → Build → Test → Deploy Support technical design, development, unit testing, and code reviews
Work alongside QA to validate functionality, fix defects, and stabilize releases
Assist with deployment activities, release readiness, and post‑deployment validation
Work Across Integrations & Upstream/Downstream Systems Collaborate with API/integration teams to integrate Fenergo with KYC providers, CRM systems, party data sources, document repositories, etc
Perform mapping exercises and integration testing
Troubleshoot interface or data‑related issues during sprints
Support Production Releases and Ongoing Enhancements Assist with release planning, deployment documentation, and change management
Help triage production issues and identify root causes in Fenergo workflows, configs, or data
Contribute to Platform Quality, Standards, and Best Practices Maintain coding/configuration standards for the CLM platform
Ensure security, regulatory, and compliance requirements are addressed in all features
Document reusable components and patterns to improve team efficiency
Qualification
Required
Fenergo CLM Platform Expertise – 3 to 4 Years Strong hands-on experience configuring and customizing Fenergo modules to support onboarding, KYC, AML, regulatory compliance, client outreach, and operational workflows
Ability to translate compliance and CLM requirements into Fenergo configuration changes, rule updates, UI models, and workflow logic
Proficiency with Core Fenergo Components – 1 to 2 Years Practical experience with: Flow Studio for workflow design, External Adapters for third-party integrations, Access Layers and security configurations, Journey Launchpads to design client journeys, Understanding of how these components interact across the CLM ecosystem
API Development & Integration Skills – 3+ Years Strong knowledge of RESTful API concepts as both service provider and consumer
Hands-on experience using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred) to build, expose, and consume APIs
Proficiency with common data-exchange formats including JSON, YAML, and XML
Software Engineering & SDLC Knowledge – 3+ Years Experience working in full SDLC environments, including: Requirements analysis, Technical design, Development, Unit/integration testing, Deployment and support, Strong grasp of software engineering best practices, version control, and modular design
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills – Required Ability to analyze complex onboarding or KYC workflows and convert them into scalable CLM configurations
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, especially across multi-system integrations
Agile Methodology Knowledge – 2+ Years Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
Familiarity with sprint ceremonies, story estimation, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery
Ability to collaborate with product owners, QA, architects, and other developers effectively
Preferred
Understanding of KYC/AML regulatory frameworks (CDD, EDD, FATCA, CRS, etc.)
Experience with DevOps tooling such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, or Confluence
Knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
