Surge Technology Solutions Inc is seeking an experienced Pega Smart Disputes professional with strong hands-on expertise in Pega Platform and dispute management solutions. The role involves designing, developing, and leading the implementation of Pega Smart Disputes solutions, while acting as a technical lead and mentoring junior developers.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and lead implementation of Pega Smart Disputes solutions
Act as technical lead for Pega Smart Disputes projects, ensuring best practices and design standards
Customize and configure dispute workflows for cards, payments, and transaction disputes
Collaborate with business and compliance teams to gather and translate requirements
Ensure performance, scalability, and security of Pega applications
Guide and mentor junior Pega developers
Support testing, UAT, and production deployments
Ensure adherence to Pega Guardrails and architectural standards
Qualification
Required
8–10 years of experience in Pega PRPC / Pega Platform development
Strong hands-on experience with Pega Smart Disputes framework
Pega L3 (Lead System Architect) certification – Mandatory
Experience in banking / financial services, preferably payments or card disputes
Expertise in case management, decisioning, integrations, and UI development
Strong understanding of Pega Guardrails and performance tuning
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Preferred
Experience with card networks (Visa, MasterCard, AmEx) dispute processes
Exposure to APIs and system integrations
Experience in Agile / Scrum environments
