Responsibilities
Working with our Funding Practice Leader and support team to provide funding assistance efforts for municipal clients seeking local, state and federal grants and loans for water, wastewater and stormwater projects
Preparing grant/loan applications, planning documents and financing plans
Developing payment schedules for loan payments
Preparing agreements between funding agencies and clients
Verifying compliance with grant/loan agreement and other agency requirements during design, bidding and construction
Maintaining grant/loan documentation
Assisting with grant/loan closeout and audits
Assisting in the development of funding strategies for client capital improvement projects
Assisting with the writing of facility plans for the application of funding
QC engineering designs
Leading smaller sized projects
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering from an accredited college or university
At least eighteen (18) years of relevant experience
A Florida PE license
Preferred
FDEP Clean & Drinking Water SRF programs
Design and management of water and Wastewater CIP projects
Coordination with regulatory agencies (local, regional, and national)
Various funding programs including but not limited to: SRF, WQI, WMD Cost-Share
Maintaining compliance with federal funding programs on utility design and construction projects
Engineering review of funding facility plans
Project management
Mentoring less experienced staff
