Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, secure AWS cloud architectures for applications and services
Define and execute migration strategies for transitioning on-premises workloads to AWS
Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, availability, and performance requirements
Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with AWS services
Optimize AWS environments for cost efficiency, scalability, and performance
Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and best-practice guidelines
Provide technical leadership and guidance on AWS services and cloud solutions
Troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues and recommend effective solutions
Stay current with AWS innovations and recommend adoption of new services where appropriate
Qualification
Required
Strong expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, PaaS, and serverless services
Proven experience designing highly available and fault-tolerant architectures (HADR)
Hands-on experience migrating on-premises workloads to AWS
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Strong understanding of serverless architectures
Solid knowledge of networking concepts, security best practices, and IAM
Experience with automation tools and infrastructure as code
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to provide after-hours support for critical deployments and occasional travel as required
