Responsibilities
Assists the IT Support Specialist to:
Deliver technology support
Perform system upgrades, such as maintenance and software patches
Evaluate current methods of software and hardware use; recommend improvements and efficiencies
Undertake other projects and duties as assigned
Provide Level I IT support to onsite & remote employees:
IT support, including troubleshooting, investigating, and tracking laptop-related issues, applications, equipment and voice and data systems
Complete visitor and new hire profile and desk set-ups
Provide remote assistance via email and phone support
Delivery/removal of desktops, laptops and other equipment as needed
Laptop setups and configurations
Collecting information for hardware and software inventory
Troubleshoot network and printer connectivity
Author appropriate documentation and procedures relating to equipment operations, software changes, maintenance and other problems encountered, with periodic review to insure they are up to date
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be enrolled in a Computer Science associate's or bachelor's degree program or similar field of study
Experience with Windows 10 computer systems and Microsoft Office 365
Basic understanding of network computing concepts
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
Physically able to lift, move, pack/unpack systems weighing up to 50 lbs
Be able to work under the moderate supervision of IT and Admin staff
