Responsibilities
Develop and implement new manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to support strategic objectives
Manage updates and modifications to existing manufacturing processes to support new product launch, including review of new part prints and review of design for manufacturability
Create cost comparisons and return on investment calculations to assist in supplier selection
Partner with quality to create comprehensive control plan and quality checks to ensure a robust process is delivering good product to customers; account for required quality inspector checks
Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, process flow diagrams, PFMEA, and process control plans; generate reports and present data on process performance and improvement initiatives
Support day-to-day needs from operations in order for team to meet KPI’s standardization across all lines
Lead the root cause failure analysis effort to ensure robust corrective actions are implemented
Qualification
Required
5-10 years' experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused manufacturing environment
Ability to read prints and understand geometric dimensions and tolerances
Experience leading Kaizen initiatives
Experience with Lean manufacturing
Proven experience optimizing production
