Industrial Services Lifting & Rigging Inspector

Responsibilities

Performing inspections of customer's crane, hoist, sling, and rigging hardware
Quoting inspection and repair costs on a variety of Lifting and Rigging products
Performing end user Lifting and Rigging classroom trainings
Using calibrated equipment to take measurements
Performing end-of-day tasks such as, filing, cleaning, and filling supplies
Communicating with Fastenal branches and vendors
Following all International Standardization Organization (ISO) quality procedures
Complying with safety regulations

Required

Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Mechanically inclined
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Willingness to work at heights that could exceed 25 feet
Willingness to travel for customer visits and training
Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork
Lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

Preferred

Prior experience inspecting or repairing lifting and rigging products
Working knowledge of experience with electronic inspection programs
Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, and OSHA Regulations
Third Party trained and certified for Crane and Hoist Inspections
