This role focuses on designing, programming, and supporting custom high-speed automated equipment used across multiple industries, collaborating closely with mechanical engineering while seeing projects through from concept to startup.

Responsibilities
Design and develop PLC and HMI programs for custom automated machinery
Create and maintain electrical schematics panel layouts and I O documentation
Integrate motion control robotics safety circuits sensors and vision systems
Collaborate with mechanical manufacturing and project engineering teams
Debug test and commission equipment in house and occasionally at customer sites
Support machine startups troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Controls Engineering or equivalent experience
3+ years of controls engineering experience in an industrial or machine build environment
Strong experience with PLC programming with Rockwell Allen Bradley preferred
Experience with HMI development servo motion systems and industrial networks
Ability to read electrical schematics and support custom machine development
Preferred
Robotics experience such as Fanuc ABB or similar is a plus
