Responsibilities
Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code that meets high-quality standards both within the core Infrastructure and related parts of the Prismatic Product
Lead projects from conception through production deployment
Support and empower a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, product managers and business stakeholders
Collaborate and contribute as a member of a full-stack product development team
Create strong developer experiences through our dashboard, documentation, APIs, and SDKs
Discover and advocate for new techniques and technologies to accelerate improvements in the reliability and scalability of Prismatic
Participate in the Platform On-Call rotation
Routinely provide sound feedback in code reviews, design reviews, security reviews, etc
Coach and mentor less experienced teammates as you build domain expertise
Be part of a highly collaborative, fully remote team that ships new code into production every day
Qualification
Required
5+ years of progressive experience in professional software development, with a track record of technical leadership and architectural contributions, ideally in startups
Experience implementing AWS-based Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure-As-Code technologies like Terraform and Docker
Experience in the Javascript / Typescript, and Python ecosystems
Hands-on experience building for, and operating FaaS environments like AWS Lambda
Demonstrate expertise building and evolving large-scale, distributed production systems
Enjoy tackling complex CI/CD scenarios
Committed to working in a communicative and collaborative environment
Write code that can be easily understood by others, with an eye towards maintainability
Strong advocate for engineering excellence, automated testing, and other engineering best practices
Experience, and opinions, on how to best use AI Coding agents to accelerate your work
Preferred
Professional experience with some of the following: PostgresQL, Redis, GraphQL, Gitlab CI/CD
Having a GitHub or similar that you're proud to show off
