ASSISTANT DIVISION CHIEF/PROGRAM MANAGER, DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES
Caltrans District 3 is seeking an Assistant Division Chief/Program Manager for the Department of Motor Vehicles. This role involves leading a high-performing team focused on resolving complex customer service issues and driving operational excellence within the DMV’s customer service delivery framework.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate staff handling complex vehicle registration functions
Oversee process improvements and special projects
Review and analyze legislative bills and regulations
Provide executive-level input on policy development and implementation
Respond to media inquiries and handle sensitive customer service issues
Mentor and develop subordinate managers and staff
Represent the Branch Chief and Deputy Director at meetings and conferences
Qualification
Required
