Responsibilities
Owning Azure infrastructure across dev, staging, and production
Designing and maintaining Terraform-based IaC
Building and improving CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions
Partnering closely with backend engineers on deployment strategies and release workflows
Improving reliability, performance, security, and cost as traffic and transaction volume grow
Designing ephemeral / preview environments for testing and experimentation
Documenting architectures and operational decisions so the platform scales with the team
Qualification
Required
5+ years in DevOps / SRE / Platform Engineering on real production systems
Deep Azure experience (networking, identity, compute, storage, security)
Terraform expertise
GitHub Actions expertise
Comfort working with a small, senior team with high ownership and very little bureaucracy
Preferred
Payments, fintech, or other high-volume transactional systems
Gaming, real-time, or consumer platforms at scale
Experience with SQL Server / Postgres in production
Advanced deployment patterns, preview environments, CDNs, or edge caching
