The Kumon Assistant will assist with daily operations of the learning center, support students and instructors, and maintain a conducive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Assisting with daily operations of the learning center

Grading and organizing student work

Providing support and guidance to students following the Kumon Method

Maintaining a conducive learning environment

Supporting the instructor in administrative tasks such as record-keeping, scheduling, and grading

Communicating with students

Collaborating with the instructor and other team members to ensure a positive experience for students and their families

Qualification

Required

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and team members

Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills for tasks such as grading and record-keeping

Basic proficiency in math and reading, with the ability to guide students in both subjects

Patience and a passion for working with children to foster their learning and development

Ability to follow and support the Kumon Method and center operations

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred

Prior experience in an educational or childcare setting is a plus

Pursuing or holding a degree in Education or a related field is advantageous
