Responsibilities

Monitor, analyze, and detect Cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks under general supervision
Assist with integrated, dynamic Cyberdefense, coordinate and maintain security toolsets to support organizations’ continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization programs, establish a framework by which cyber risk can be measured and quantified in the marketplace
Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates
Implements security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation
Verifies security systems by developing and implementing test scripts
Maintains security by monitoring and ensuring compliance to standards, policies, and procedures; conducting incident response analyses; developing and conducting training programs
Responsible for the design, development, implementation, and integration of DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within computing, network, and enclave environments
Ensure that the architecture and design of development and operational systems are functional and secure. This includes designs for program of record systems and special purpose processing nodes with platform IT interconnectivity

Required

Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 10+
Able to support customer's core hours (0900-1500; Mon – Fri)
DoD 8570 certification in IAT or IAM
Experience with cyber operations
Experience supporting project management and acquisitions
Experience with customer's Cybersecurity Processes and tools/capabilities to include Splunk
Experience in requirements analysis
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Hands-on working knowledge of Excel and other database applications
Excellent oral and written communications skills
Ability to support Group Level GPOCs

Preferred

Self-starter requiring limited direction and supervision
Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or an advanced IA certification (i.e. CISSP or CASP)
Experience briefing senior customer personnel
Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast pace deadline driven environment
Familiarity with the RMF process
Experience supporting IC or DoD in the Cyber Security Domain
Working knowledge of Microsoft tools; Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
