NEOGOV is seeking a DPW Department Coordinator for the Town of Foxborough, MA. Responsibilities

Provides broad administrative and customer service support to the Department of Public Works; responds to inquiries from employees, vendors, contractors, and the public; prepares correspondence and reports; maintains records, logs, and files; processes mail; and assists with scheduling and coordination of departmental activities
Assists with financial and accounting-related functions including the processing of invoices, payment plans, and shut-off/termination notices, as well as vendor coordination, data entry, reporting, and use of municipal financial systems; maintains accurate records to support departmental operations and compliance requirements
Coordinates and tracks permits, licenses, contracts, and related documentation; collects and processes fees; maintains contractor and vendor information; and supports compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements
Supports departmental programs, initiatives, and interdepartmental coordination efforts; assists with data collection, reporting, and documentation; and provides backup support to other administrative functions as needed
Performs similar or related work as required, directed, or as situation dictates. Regular attendance at the workplace is required

Required

High School Diploma required
One to five years of progressively responsible office, administrative, or business experience
Ability to plan and perform operations and independently complete assigned tasks according to prescribed time schedules
Regular attendance at the workplace is required
Employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, speak, and hear; use hands and arms to handle, feel, and operate office equipment and materials; occasionally stoop, bend, and lift or move objects weighing up to 30 pounds; and possess vision and hearing correctable to normal ranges sufficient to read documents and use a computer

At least an associate's degree or advanced training preferred
Municipal experience preferred
Experience and proficiency with Munis and Microsoft Excel software preferred
