Responsibilities
Develop full control system design packages including wiring, device selection, PLC logic pathways, and documentation
Evaluate obsolete or failed hardware and engineer compliant modern replacements
Configure and document IP addressing and network parameters for new devices
Deliver drawings, specifications, and integration packages for contractor execution
Support modernization projects involving Ovation, AP1000, and similar nuclear platforms
Ensure upgraded systems integrate smoothly into existing DCS environments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
5+ years supporting nuclear, utility, or heavy industrial control systems
Strong working knowledge of DCS architecture and industrial communications
Experience replacing and upgrading control hardware and instrumentation
Ability to read P&IDs, loop sheets, and wiring diagrams
Familiarity with cyber-security implications in control system design
Experience with PLC-based control systems and field instrumentation
Strong documentation and client coordination skills
