Responsibilities

Design and develop innovative furniture and cabinetry products from initial concept through to production, ensuring alignment with company standards and customer needs
Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and manufacturing teams to bring ideas to life, ensuring seamless integration of design, functionality, and manufacturability
Conduct user research and testing to validate product features, usability, and performance, incorporating feedback into iterative design improvements
Create detailed CAD models, prototypes, and comprehensive product documentation to facilitate manufacturing and quality assurance processes
Apply engineering principles to ensure products meet safety, reliability, and durability standards while maintaining cost-effectiveness
Balance aesthetic appeal with functional requirements, production feasibility, and budget constraints to deliver market-ready products
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing technologies to continuously enhance product design and innovation

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial design, or a related field
At least five years of experience designing furniture or cabinetry products from concept to launch

Deep understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and safety standards
Strong collaboration skills for working effectively across technical and creative teams
Keen eye for detail
Problem-solving abilities
