MSP Technician II
Paradise InfoTech & Automation is a fast-growing company seeking a Level 2 IT Technician to join their MSP team. The role involves solving real-world problems for small and mid-sized business clients, providing both on-site and remote support, and ensuring smooth ticket resolution.
Responsibilities
Own and resolve tickets assigned by dispatch from start to finish
Handle escalations from Level 1 technicians
Meet SLA targets and communicate clearly when blockers arise
Provide on-site and remote support for client environments
Accurately document all work in the PSA
Assist with small-to-medium IT projects (user onboarding, M365 changes, endpoint deployments, etc.)
Maintain and improve technical documentation and SOPs
Participate in on-call rotation (occasional evenings/weekends as scheduled)
Mentor and support Level 1 technicians
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers with proper documentation and troubleshooting context
Participate in team meetings, post-incident reviews, and knowledge sharing
Contribute to and help maintain the internal knowledge base
Qualification
Required
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Entra ID/Azure AD, Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, basic firewall concepts)
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
Proficient with Windows Desktop and Windows Server environments
Hands-on experience with Hyper-V
Backup and recovery fundamentals
Experience with MSP tools: RMM and PSA platforms (HaloPSA and/or NinjaOne preferred)
Ability to perform both remote and on-site support
Valid driver's license, clean driving record
Professional, clear communicator (email, phone, in-person with clients)
Strong ownership, accountability, and follow-through
Handles sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Clean criminal background (subject to background check)
Preferred
Experience with SentinelOne or similar EDR platforms
Experience with UniFi networking (switches, APs, gateways)
Experience with Intune / Endpoint Management
Familiarity with basic firewall changes (Meraki, UniFi, FortiGate, etc.)
Experience with Egnyte
