Responsibilities
Design and ship long-lived, stateful AI agents that handle complex workflows beyond simple chat
Build robust document ingestion pipelines across PDFs, spreadsheets, drawings, emails, and policies
Own retrieval, reasoning, and structured output layers that power reliable agent behavior
Develop reusable agent primitives that unlock multiple workflows across the product
Implement evaluation loops and feedback systems so agents continuously improve in production
Partner closely with the founding team and early customers to ship high-impact features quickly
Make pragmatic decisions around deployment, reliability, and security as the system scales
Qualification
Required
Proven experience building and shipping AI agents to production or near-production environments
Hands-on ownership of agent design including tools, prompts, skills, sub-agents, and evaluations
Strong engineering fundamentals and systems-level intuition
Comfort owning ambiguous problems and making high-leverage technical decisions
An AI-native workflow and bias toward speed using modern coding agents and tooling
Founder-level mindset with a desire to build, not just optimize
