Accounts Payable Clerk
Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices with accurate coding and timely payment
Review and reconcile vendor statements; investigate and resolve discrepancies
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to accounts payable
Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records
Process and verify employee expense reports
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare basic reports and analysis related to accounts payable activity
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Communicate effectively with internal departments and team members
Qualification
Required
1+ year of accounts payable experience; logistics or freight forwarding experience is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using accounting software
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
