Vice President of Operations
Friends of Cyrus is seeking a Vice President of Operations for Southern NJ. This role involves overseeing operational controls, administrative procedures, and ensuring quality program supervision across various residential and day habilitation services in Burlington and Cherry Hill Counties.

Responsibilities
Provide management oversight for residential programs
Plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the operations of residential and day habilitation services
Assure staff development resources and opportunities are provided for all assigned staff
Develop proposals for program enhancement for submission to the Sr Vice President
Assure Home Administrators & Group Home Managers are facilitating and providing direction on agency/departmental designed new employee on-boarding communications, expectations and administrative orientations
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, and regulations with the Division of Developmental Disabilities, Licensing and Medicaid
Responsible for quality assurance in operations and personnel
Provides for and ensures participants and employees have a safe work environment
Represents the agency in all settings
Responsible for organizational evaluation in the assigned area, strategic planning and qualitative and quantitative evaluation of residential and day habilitation programs and services
Evaluate, develop and review company policies and procedures to address any changes to agency operations to ensure quality services and compliance with all regulations
Develop operational plan for the Sr Vice President Operation's review including but not limited to strategies for increasing referral volume, increasing service capacity, manage existing accounts, fulfilling service contract objectives, driving sales, productivity and overall business growth. Facilitate new business developments as directed, market new and innovative ideas
Manage and coordinate activities of all Directors, Managers, Coordinators and staff
Responsible for certifications, Recertifications, new licenses and renewal of Programs
Responsible for implementation of electronic health records
Responsible for compliance with all state/DDD regulations
Responsible for compliance with all required training for staff
Responsible to meet all targeted goals- census- revenue
Responsible for managing overtime hours
Meet targeted goals for billable days/hours
Lead staff recruitment, develop and maintain positive retention strategies
Continually work to enhance staff and program developments, quality assurance systems, and preparations for licensing and accreditation
Responsible for meeting deadlines for new developments
Assist in marketing, public relations and community education activities
Establishing policies and procedures for all functions and for the day-to-day operation of the agency in the assigned areas
Serving as FOCII’s primary spokesperson for Burlington county to the organization’s constituents, the media and the general public
Supervise, collaborate with organization staff
Strategic planning and implementation
Oversee marketing and other communications efforts
Have strong knowledge and skills in a wide variety of areas in the industry (human services- IDD), and the current environment and changes (Fee for Service, DDD, licensing regulations, political, social, economic, and technological)
Other duties as assigned by the SVP of Operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field
10+ years of experience in operations management, with a focus on strategic planning and senior leadership
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams to achieve operational excellence
Strong negotiation skills and experience in business development
Proficiency in project management and process improvement methodologies
Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and optimize processes
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards a common goal
