Responsibilities
Under frequent supervision, performs a variety of clerical and receptionist duties on the patient care unit to assist the care team members in transcribing and communicating physicians’ orders and to maintain the efficiency of the unit
Serves as a liaison between the patient and members of the patient care and support teams
Qualification
Required
High school diploma/GED required
Demonstrated computer and keyboarding skills
Completion of Baltimore Washington Medical Center Administrative Technician Extended Orientation
Preferred
Previous experience in a hospital or health care facility with knowledge of medical terminology preferred
