Responsibilities
Lead overall program and launch execution for new and existing business, from award through SOP and stabilization, ensuring timing, cost, and quality targets are met
Manage and develop a large team of Program Managers and Engineers
Oversee launch of automated / robotic assembly lines
Partner closely with commercial/program teams on quoting, change management, and product lifecycle decisions, balancing technical and business considerations
Guide the use of structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methods to close launch and production issues
Build and maintain strong working relationships with plant leadership, key suppliers, and customer contacts to support successful launches
Identify, develop, and mentor high-potential talent within the engineering and program organizations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required (engineering preferred)
5+ years in automotive engineering, program management, and/or commercial-facing leadership, ideally in a high-speed manufacturing environment
Demonstrated experience with new product/line launch, preferably involving metal stamping and/or robotic welding/assembly
Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across functions and levels, including plant leadership and customer teams
Strong organizational and project management skills
