Lead the design, development, and optimization of solutions across SAP S/4HANA
Collaborate closely with product owners, functional analysts, and manufacturing, supply chain, and finance teams to translate business needs into elegant, high-performing technical solutions
Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and engineering mindset
Ability to transform functional requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions
Proficient with performance analysis, tuning, and advanced debugging
Qualification
Required
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field (In lieu of a degree, 2 years of relevant experience per missing year of education.)
Strong proficiency in ABAP programming language
10+ years of design, development, and support experience in SAP technologies
2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA
Ability to work on-site in Holland, MI at least 4 days per week
Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and engineering mindset
Ability to transform functional requirements into clean, maintainable technical solutions
Proficient with performance analysis, tuning, and advanced debugging
Classic ABAP and Modern ABAP on S/4HANA 2023
Experience with BAS, Eclipse/ADT, and SAP Fiori integration
Expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP
Expertise in Module Pool Programming
Expertise in Function Groups
Expertise in Reports, ALV IDA
Expertise in Enhancements, User Exits
Expertise in BAPI, RFC, IDoc
Expertise in Adobe Forms
Expertise in Data Dictionary design and optimization
Expertise in S/4HANA Extensibility & Architecture
Expertise in Key User Extensibility
Expertise in Pro Developer Extensibility
Expertise in Clean Core aligned development practices
Expertise in Modern SAP Application Development
Expertise in CDS views, HANA database experience
Expertise in RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
Expertise in REST APIs, OData v4, SAP Gateway
Expertise in Postman or similar API testing tools
Experience with one or more SAP functional areas such as: PPDS, aATP, SD, LE/WM, MM, FI, SCM
Modern ABAP on S/4HANA Clean, maintainable development using both classic and modern techniques
CDS + HANA performance engineering Can design scalable solutions and troubleshoot system performance issues
API & integration development RAP, OData, REST services, and enterprise integration experience
