Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
Define end-to-end ServiceNow ITOM architecture aligned with enterprise standards
Design scalable solutions for Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, and CMDB
Establish CMDB data model, CI class strategy, identification & reconciliation rules
Ensure platform performance, availability, and extensibility
Lead implementations of:
ITOM Discovery (Horizontal & Cloud)
Service Mapping (Top-down / Pattern-based)
Event Management & AIOps
Cloud Discovery (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Define Discovery schedules, credentials strategy, MID Server architecture
Design event ingestion and correlation from monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Dynatrace, SCOM, AppDynamics, etc.)
Enforce ServiceNow best practices, guardrails, and upgrade-safe customizations
Own CMDB health strategy (Completeness, Correctness, Compliance)
Integrate CMDB with external sources using:
Service Graph Connectors
IntegrationHub / REST / APIs
Define data governance, lifecycle management, and audit processes
Architect integrations using:
IntegrationHub, REST, SOAP, MID Server
Enable event-to-incident / event-to-automation use cases
Leverage Flow Designer, Orchestration, and Runbooks
Act as technical advisor to customers, leadership, and delivery teams
Translate business requirements into platform-level solutions
Mentor developers and ITOM consultants
Support pre-sales activities, estimations, and solution presentations
Qualification
Required
10–15 years in ITSM / ITOM with 5+ years on ServiceNow platform
Deep expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management (AIOps), and CMDB
Define end-to-end ServiceNow ITOM architecture aligned with enterprise standards
Design scalable solutions for Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, and CMDB

Strong knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
JavaScript (ServiceNow)
Glide APIs
Integration patterns and security (OAuth, certificates)
ServiceNow ITOM Implementation Specialist
Preferred
ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
ServiceNow CIS – Discovery / Service Mapping / Event Management
Experience with ITOM Pro / AIOps
Exposure to CSDM 4.x implementation
Experience in regulated industries (Telecom)
