Responsibilities
Provides direct clinical treatment to adults, children and adolescents as represented in the caseload through diagnostic evaluations and screenings; crisis/emergency assessment and intervention; treatment planning and assessment; individual, group, couple and family therapy
Participates in interdisciplinary and integrated diagnostic treatment and planning conferences
Consults with area schools, doctors/primary care, individuals, and other social service agencies, insurance providers and hospital networks regarding clients, client services and case management as applicable
Maintains client records and administrative records consistent with policy
Attends administrative staff meetings as required
Attends seminars, in-service education, clinical supervision, and professional meetings as required
Participates in required trainings
Respects diverse views and approaches, demonstrates Standards of Respect, and contributes to creating and maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors
Qualification
Required
Enrolled In a Masters or Doctoral level program in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Psychology, or related program
All candidates will be subject to a CORI review as outlined in the regulations set by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services
This role is in the Worcester Counseling Center, 17+ only, no child or adolescent work
Must be in an LMHC-track only (will be supervised by an LMHC)
