Implementation Integration Engineer

The Implementation Integration Engineer is responsible for managing client integrations and ensuring seamless connectivity between clients and various vendors, while maintaining high standards of integration process and documentation.

Responsibilities
Ensure 100% of required client integrations are live and functional at go-live
Coordinate complex integration timelines across multiple vendors and technical teams
Deliver seamless integration experience that enables full platform utilization from go-live
Manage relationships with integration partners, banks, and 3rd-party tool providers
Coordinate internal technical teams and external vendors on integration requirements
Drive resolution of integration issues and technical blockers
Maintain consistent integration processes and quality standards across all implementations
Develop integration best practices and troubleshooting procedures
Ensure proper documentation and handoff of integration configurations
Work with Project Managers and Solutions Consultants to identify all required client integrations
Scope integration requirements with clients and gather necessary technical documentation
Develop integration timelines and coordinate with overall implementation schedule
Identify potential integration challenges and develop mitigation strategies
Ensure all stakeholders understand integration requirements and timelines
Serve as primary contact with bank partners, payment processors, and 3rd-party integration vendors
Coordinate vendor onboarding processes and technical requirements gathering
Manage vendor timelines and hold partners accountable to integration commitments
Escalate vendor issues and drive resolution of integration blockers
Maintain relationships with key integration partners for ongoing collaboration
Coordinate with internal technical teams on integration configurations and system setup
Oversee integration testing processes and validation of system connectivity
Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate technical resources
Ensure proper testing of data flows and system functionality across all integrations
Validate integration performance and reliability before go-live approval
Communicate integration progress and timelines to clients through Project Managers
Provide technical guidance to clients on integration requirements and setup
Support client coordination with their vendors and internal teams for integration completion
Address client concerns and questions related to integration functionality
Ensure clients understand how to use integrated features and functionality
Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration configurations and setup processes
Document integration procedures and best practices for team knowledge sharing
Create integration handoff materials for Customer Enablement team
Track integration metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement
Ensure proper configuration documentation for ongoing platform maintenance
Partner with Project Managers on integration timeline coordination and client communication
Collaborate with Solutions Consultants on technical configuration requirements
Work with Data team on integration data mapping and migration requirements
Coordinate with Customer Enablement team on integration handoff and ongoing support
Partner with internal technical teams on platform updates affecting integrations
Identify opportunities to streamline integration processes and reduce setup timelines
Stay current on integration technology trends and new vendor capabilities
Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams on integration platform enhancements
Develop new integration partnerships that benefit client implementations
Lead adoption of new integration tools and automation capabilities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technology, systems integration, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience with system integrations, API management, or technical coordination
Proven experience working with financial institutions, payment processors, or 3rd-party integrations
Strong understanding of system integrations, APIs, and data connectivity
Experience with financial system integrations (banking, payment processing)
Knowledge of integration testing, troubleshooting, and validation processes
Understanding of data security and compliance requirements for financial integrations
Proficiency with integration documentation and technical specification management
Comfort with AI tools for integration automation, predictive monitoring, and process optimization
Excellent project coordination and timeline management skills
Proven ability to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
Experience coordinating across technical teams and external partners
Ability to manage competing priorities and urgent integration requirements
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
Strong vendor relationship management and negotiation capabilities
Ability to translate technical requirements into business language for clients
Experience managing escalations and resolving conflicts with external partners
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Comfortable with technology and learning new integration platforms
Ability to travel occasionally for vendor meetings or client implementations
Innovative mindset toward leveraging AI and technology for integration process optimization and vendor relationship management
Preferred
Experience in SaaS environments or software implementation
