Responsibilities

Measure Client Outcomes through Surveys: Support the end-to-end implementation of surveys measuring the impact of VisionFund’s financial products, including enhancing existing dashboards, analysing quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights, and ensuring timely feedback loops to relevant stakeholders
Benchmark Performance with Industry Standards: Conduct comparative analysis between externally available data in the financial inclusion sector and impact-operational data from internal databases to identify areas of over- and underperformance
Monitor Strategy Realization: Collaborate with the Strategy Realization team to design dashboards that support VisionFund’s management in making informed decisions
Support Systems Integration: Provide support to the impact, strategy realization, and IT teams on integrating impact and operational data to drive operational improvements in the MFIs
Ensure Data Quality Through Validation: Perform rigorous checks to improve the accuracy and reliability of Micro Finance Institutions’ survey data
Stay Ahead with Sector Research: Investigate the latest trends, evidence, and best practices in financial inclusion from leading industry bodies, regulators, and investors

Required

Proficiency in Data Tools: Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel, and Power BI, or similar data analytics software, will set you apart
Expertise in Data Visualization: Strong abilities in creating impactful charts and presentations that effectively tell a story from data will give you a competitive edge
Online Research Skills: You have experience in conducting thorough and effective online research to support your work and insights
Passionate Communication: You are passionate about using your God-given communication talents and are keen to widen your hands-on experience in the poverty and microfinance sector
Commitment to our Mission: You have a demonstrated commitment to and alignment with the goals, mission, and vision of World Vision, embodying its values in all aspects of your work
At least 18 years of age
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States (e.g., U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or F-1 student visa holder with valid work authorization) and possess a valid U.S. Social Security Number
Able to commit to at least 30 hours per week for the entire internship period: 1 June – 28 August 2026
Current student or recent graduate from a graduate programme (within 2 years)
Adhere to World Vision International's Christian Statement of Faith
Willingness to use own electronic devices for internship purposes, and disposition to let WVI install endpoint security software in those devices
