Responsibilities
Own and manage Company’s Conflicts process, including gathering information, running searches and reporting all findings to necessary parties involved while maintaining the internal database
Maintain Insurance portfolio and assist General Counsel with annual renewal process
Maintain Company database of Attorney Bar Registration, CLE information, PLI credentials etc
Develop thorough understanding and knowledge of Company’s legal technology and software initiatives, including HRIS, and vendor management systems, as well as assist in evaluating and implementing other software as future needs require
Support the COO in strategic projects, including but not limited to drafting NDAs, legal document production/preparation, involvement with confidential projects
Liaise with external service providers as necessary
Serve as general resource for the Leadership team members
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree, required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with capability and willingness to become proficient in all of the Company's matter and contract management systems, required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously, required
Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and flexibility, and the ability to interface effectively with personnel at different levels throughout the Company
Ability to maintain the integrity of confidential and sensitive information in a professional manner
Preferred
Paralegal Certificate preferred
Minimum of five years of corporate paralegal experience with a corporate legal department and/or law firm a plus
